Hospital Bag

How many nappies for babies and maternity pads for me should I pack? Im having to stay in for 24hours due to having GD. Also I think it's too tight to pack in a small suitcase but not enough for a large suitcase . Any tips on best way to pack will be much appreciated...thank you 1st time momma here

Well I know in the US they supply you with all the diapers you need even some to take home. So I know I won’t be packing any. Same for pads from what I am told. But that is here idk if it is different where you are.

I packed a full packet of nappies think I think it has 24 and a full pack of pads for me (probably going to get another just incase) not sure if that’s not enough or not but I’m hoping to get home as soon as I can! I’m not sure if they have nappies and things to give at the hospital! I know they have certain formulas and bottles for you to use here in Scotland at my local hospital as well!

I’ve packed a full pack of boots own maternity pads and there’s 10 in a pack, as for nappies I think I counted I packed around 20 ish but definitely no more than that xx

Im taking one pack of 24 nappies I have an extra pack at home that partner can pickup if needed but doubt I'd need more

I am only taking like 3. Ask your midwife if they have them there

3 nappies and 3 maternity diapers for me

I’ve taken 12 nappies for baby and then 10 adult nappies for me. I was in for 2 days last time due to excessive bleeding, I’d honestly take adult nappies instead of pads

@Marte I’d take more than 3 nappies for baby… I take 3 out for my toddler and even that’s not enough for a whole day and he doesn’t need changing as much

@Natalya yeah wow I just asked my midwife😅 I did not expect it as in Belgium they just have all you need in the hospital!

But apparently in the UK you do need to bring your own!
