C section
I’ll be 6 weeks post c section on Wednesday, scar seems to have healed well but on the left had side above it’s still quite swollen and puffy and can still feel abit off pain there but the other side is fine. Is this normal?

11 months pp and I still have a small swollen area above my scar, once cleared by a doctor start scar massage to help release any stuck fluid around it
The dr tied the stitches that side ;) sometimes they close one side tighter than the other. It's very normal
I had some extra pin on my right side. During the C-section, 2 doctors will pull on either side of the incision to open it wider. I was told maybe one side was pulled harder. Perfectly normal:)

I had an emergency c-section and honestly think it took close to 12 weeks for it to settle and feel okay again. Even a year later I still get the odd weird sensation around the scar 🤯 it just all takes time to heal so as long as its looking okay with no signs of infection I wouldn't be too worried but if you're not sure it doesn't hurt to get checked out
