C section

Those who have had a section or know about the healing process, I had a section on 10/2 and one side looks like a scar with some small scabs but the other side is bright pink/ red. It’s been like this for about a week.. would I need to do anything about this?

I had my C-section the same day as you and mine was the same. I started feeling unwell on Friday night, and eventually went back to the hospital on Saturday to be told I have an infection. Maybe best to get it checked, especially if you’re not feeling great! X

I’d call your GP or MAC unit to make them aware so they can check your scar my love! You don’t want to leave it then it lead to an infection!😔 I had my C section on the 5th Feb and still quite sore and painful! They discharged me the day after the surgery and I didn’t feel ready at all, please be gentle with yourself, you’re doing amazing❤️

I’m 19 days post c section and I got an infection on one side of it around day 9. Definitely worth getting it checked as I’m on my second round of antibiotics and one side is still red vs the other half which has healed well.
