Liquid IV for nausea

Hi! I wanted to share this helped me a little bit today. I’ve been having all day nausea more than my first pregnancy and my mom gave me liquid IV which I finally tried today and it settled my stomach. I don’t know if I was dehydrated - I probably was. Sharing in case it helps anyone. I also drank a GatorLyte. I’ll have to look into healthier options like coconut water again but for now the Liquid IV is helping a lot.

Thank you! This makes sense. I had a body armor drink yesterday and surprisingly felt better afterwards.

I was just gonna post that my nausea today for the first time was at an all time high. I’m still feeling so queasy.

@Jessica I can report that last night was the first full night I didn’t have nausea into today. I’m trying to drink lots of water and juice and will be buying more liquid IV cause I think that’s what’s making the difference

@Natali what flavor did you get? I’m struggling today. Fml.

@Jessica I’m so sorry I know it’s the worst… my mom gave me lemon lime and I used 1/3 a packet at a time with water cause each packet has a lot of powder

Can I ask what is liquid IV? I get the concept, but I’m from Scotland and just seen this post and struggling so badly! Is this something you can buy in the store or pharmacy?

I bet we don’t have it in this country 😩

@Leanne it’s basically like a powder drink mix with electrolytes… I just googled and it says it’s available at Boots, Sainsbury, Costco UK or Amazon UK!

Ahh Amazing thank you! I’ll have a look, I’ve actually been drinking lucozade sport drinks which do really help, concerned about the amount of sugar in them though, so the powder ones sound better! I’ll have a look online thank you! 🙏🏽🙂
