@Louise thank you! Oh no! I’ll definitely keep that in mind as I don’t want that to happen! It’s just so hard isn’t it! I feel so annoying keep on asking for help with my toddler!
I asked my insurance company and they said “when the doctor clears you you can drive” and that appt for me is at 6 weeks post c section.
I think it depends on insurance company - some need you to be signed off by the doctor at your 6 week check. When I got discharged with my C-section she said no driving until you feel safe to do an emergency stop, I’ve been driving short distances tho cause my husbands back to work and my little boy needs to get dropped off at childminders xx
It depends on your insurance, I would just say as above be careful as I also felt so well and got an infection which has set me back about 3 weeks am 6 weeks pp and can’t drive yet due to soreness
Depends on insurance, first time round I was with admiral and they said whenever advised by GP. GP said whenever I was comfortable I could do an emergency stop, started driving at 5 weeks. This time I don’t have a car as I crashed it at 36 weeks 😓. But currently 3 weeks pp and hoping to go car shopping at 4 weeks
This is my second c section and have found recovery to be a lot easier. My wound did open at 2-3weeks but I’ve always felt fine. I live with literally nothing around me so I had to get out for my mental health 🙈 I drove at 5 weeks but only locally (10mins). Just be careful is all I would say 🙂
I think it depends on your Insurance company! But I think most are about 6 weeks. But please be careful, I felt fine after 2 weeks so I started doing a bit more... But then my wound opened and started to get infected ☹️ I'm 4 weeks now and still feel way off being healed. Wish I'd taken it easy for longer!
