There’s no rush :) I waited until my daughter told me she had peed in her nappy, she found it uncomfortable. Introduced the potty let her pick it out and some pants, she had just turned three, minimal accidents just making sure to remind her to check how she was feeling xx

Hi my son is September 2022. To be honest I think I didn't know when he was ready but we just gave it a go and made a routine of when we take him. And making sure we take him every 1hr 30 mins and it's been working well keeping him dry. He even goes at nursery. He's also not communicating when he needs to go. Since end of last year he's been happy to be taken to the toilet and does number 1 or 2. So for now, We are just getting him into the habit of going so when he does start to communicate it will be really quick getting him off the pull ups. Hope that helps.

But as @Kimberley said, it's definitely no rush. X

That’s wonderful, thank you so much ladies

We didn’t have any signs. Just a boring 10 days at home over Christmas. First two days we didn’t get one successful potty but then day 4 80% were. 2 months later 95% success (100% most days) but still the odd accident 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Cal does your little one tell you when they need to go ?

@Christina they didn’t prior to ditching nappies. They do now the vast majority of the time. (90-95%) x

Just have a try, mine didn’t really tell us before we did potty training but it took 3 days and she smashed it

I had a read through the ERIC website and you don't avtually have to wait for all the signs of readiness, my LG wasnt showing many but she was potty trained fully in 2.5 weeks xx

@Cal think I might try this. Thanks!!

My daughter just started refusing to wear her nappy and was communicating with me when she was going to the toilet
