Decreased movement
Is it normal for baby to move less once engaged in pelvis? I was in triage yesterday and I’m having to go again today. Baby is meeting the criteria but based on her normal movements, she is moving less

I can relate to this!! Was in triage last week - baby hadn’t moved for hours, went in, and she took hour and half to move on the monitor! Then she did have a party so came off it eventually! Such a worry!
Would recommend to call triage or mat assessment unit to check. The NHS guidelines say that babies are expected to have similar movement patterns till you go into labour. Hope it is all an intermittent pattern and all goes well xx

I’ve been told babies should be moving the same or more definitely not less. I went in with increased movements but my baby has a heart condition and they obviously monitored me but I was told to go in if she moved less x
