Car seat help

Hi all, we have a car seat for my bfs car that will go in the back and use isofix etc and this will be our main car seat, however I want to get one for my car that I can use here and there. Unfortunately my car doesn’t have isofix. I’ve been recommended to get a car seat that goes in the front (airbag turned off) and is seatbelt friendly, as I have a tiny 2 door car. Does anyone have any recommendations that I can get for the cheap second car seat? Like I said we will mainly use my partners car so this is just for the odd occasion.

How old is the child? I'd recommend asking on car seat safety page on facebook.

@Jo sorry I should have said! It’s so a newborn. Do you recommend any pages?

That's what it's called. They can recommend infant carriers, most can use a seal belt no isofix.

Post age, weight and budget they will advise on best seat.

Recommend bump to booster on Facebook! Xx they’re a lovely group

If it’s for the odd occasion could you not just take the car seat out your partners car and strap it with a belt? This is what I do, that way no agg with buying another - I have the Cybex Cloud T x

@Jo thanks!

@Aimee yeah could do I guess, it’s just if he is at work and I decide I want to go out, I won’t be able to get it etc xx

@Aimee I do this! Much easier! And it’s way easier to keep the car seat in the house! They end up falling asleep and it’s easier to bring them inside!

With the baby seat you are likely to bring it in from the car anyway.
