Thanks ladies. I’m booked in for an induction tomorrow but been told to request elective section when there due to concerns.

24 hours. Was offered to stay another night for IV iron but I opted to take tablets instead xx

Had baby at 2 in the afternoon was out the next evening at 6! Xx

I left on the third day - was only kept in as I tried to do too much the second day (got up too quickly for a shower) and my blood pressure went a bit funny so they wanted to monitor me.

Just had a medically required c-section. So inbetween elective and emcs. It’s recorded as a Cat 3 emergency c-section and was able to walk in to theatre and no rushing around. You will be bumped for any actual emergency situations but ahead of the elective list. Had a previous Cat 2 emcs with my girl. I had a scan and ctg monitoring Thursday and was told to be stay as in patient but went home as have a toddler and cane back Friday. At this stage i was still confused about options and was maybe still wanting to try induction/vbac. After being told risks we went with c-section. They tried for Friday evening but ended up being Sat late morning. In-between was kept monitored. Could’ve been discharged Sunday night but got too late so left Monday lunchtime. So total time in was 3.5 days (3 nights) but could’ve been 3 days/2nights.

I had my c section at 10.30am Friday and was discharged at midday Saturday! Hope all goes well for you. It’s an amazing experience xx

Thank you all, I’ve been told mine would be category 3 due to reduced growth and other factors. So far booked in for an induction but been told to change this when I go in tomorrow to a c-section🤞🏼
