High chairs

Feels silly to ask but I’m still working on prepping for baby #2 and wondering if it’s necessary or worth it to have two high chairs? My son will be 18mo when my daughter is born and I know obvi she won’t need the high chair for a bit but just wasn’t sure how much overlap there would be

Our children are 2.5 years a part. When my second turned 2 we got a booster seat for a dining room chair and put the high chair away . It works out great! Now she’s 3 using the booster seat still while the 10 month old uses the high chair

My first is using a booster seat, he's been using it for a month or so now, we actually much prefer it to the high chair, wish I got one sooner!!

Ive got a 3yo and a 1yo. Kept the first highchair and as we have a breakfast bar we all eat at i bought a clip on highchair for 1yo (when they were 6m). 3yo still uses the proper highchair as its easier and we dont have enough normal stools 😅. During the day at lunch etc baby uses the clip on and eldest just sits on a stool. I would say it depends on your set up. If you have a dining table, those chicco pocket snack chairs are very good.

My one year old sits on a small chair at a small table. She's too small for the chair but it's good practice. Our second isn't here yet which means she'll have plenty of time to get used to the table and chair, we also have a second small chair for when baby is 1 as well so they can sit together xx

Mine are 11 months apart, and honestly it's a nightmare to keep swapping them and feeding at different times 😫 Or if you can get your eldest eating at a table like above, it'll be easier! X

Mine are just under 17 months apart, he’s will be starting BLW in the next month and my eldest is very much still in highchairs she eats better in a highchair than at a table. When the baby is a bit older they’ll both be at a little table hopefully x

My little girl has recently just started sitting at the table with us it just randomly happened one day and now she won't sit in a high chair she was about 19 months x
