Going crazy

What do you guys do all day? My baby is almost 11 months old and I have no idea what do do all day. I sing, dance, let his explore wherever he wants to go (safely) when we can (depending on weather) we go for walks around stores and im just losing it. When I try and set up activities he just tries to eat it or chew on it so I lose motivation

21mo fraternal twin boys here. Learning for an hr on YouTube on the TV with breakfast, play for 1-2hrs, put down for nap (after hr if not asleep, run errands), lunch and then errands, play for another couple hrs with movie in background, I make dinner or have leftovers at 6, husband is off at 8 most days and off Mon & Tues for appts

Not sure, but are there children centres in the US? I take mine almost everyday, and does help a lot

Honestly, mostly with her and I, we mostly just cook together. I let her know what I'm chopping up, and then she helped stir a little bit. She plays in The Playpen. I sit on the couch next to her, reading a little bit on my Kindle. We tend to the Garden together we tend to the animals together. Shopping , walks , parks , dogs ,cats When that's wore out, I have a lesson Chatgpt worked out for her and go by that daily . 😅

My son is also 11 months and I am bored out of my mind. We don’t do screen time for the baby so no tv as a distraction. Chewing on toys is completely developmentally appropriate for this age. Banging toys together is playing for them! He wakes up, I nurse him and then get him dressed for the day- he plays in his playpen while I make breakfast, maybe also throw on a load of laundry. He eats some breakfast and by the time that’s over it’s usually about time for a nap. Naps are very inconsistent lengths which makes it hard to get household stuff done. Afternoons are basically a repeat of the morning and when my husband gets home he plays with the baby so I can cook dinner in peace. I take him to grocery shop with me or run errands once or twice a week so that gets us out of the house. On Mondays our library has mommy and me story time in the Am which is fun. I do also listen to audiobooks using Audible.

My baby had Baby Bounce on 3 days of the week, (called storytime after 18m) after the session we’d drop by the mall for lunch or the park, I had a day of mothers group at the playcentre and that other free day I’d organise w a sahm friend to do something so I guess every day is different in where I go and who I see as a sahm so it wasn’t so monotonous and boring.

You can definitely make sensory play with edible things so you don’t have to worry about him eating them, they have videos on tiktok or facebook groups for ideas as well!
