for a 23 weeker , who isn’t technically viable - to even be on the 1st percentile is a good thing , i would absolutely not be getting any growth hormones for him , my brother was born at 31 weeks and had to be resuscitated twice , he’s now 16 and 6ft3 , prematurely can definitely delay growth but won’t stop it completely , your son will grow , it might just take him longer x

hi, my son was born at 33weeks and now currently just turned 4. he is still small and in 2-3yrs clothes. he is following the 2nd centile.
