@✨Wis 🇭🇹 yeah the hemmorrhoids occurred during and due to the pushing stage so maybe I should do some research/ speak with my midwife on some ways to avoid it happening as bad this time
Yeah during pregnancy aside from not straining and adopting better posture when sitting, it’s not much you can do. During labor and delivery yes there’s a lot you can do to avoid getting them
I’ve had 3 sections. No vaginal births. The hospital can give you a sitz basin. I also asked for anything I could use to help the rhoids.
I had tearing and then the stitches made things wonky. I'm still iffy down there but seeing a pelvic floor physio therapist now to help with the downstairs.
Did you take stool softener the first few weeks? Avoid straining and using a stool can help avoid hemorrhoids. Also avoid straining during the pushing stage by switching positions is you’re pushing and it’s not doing anything. I wouldn’t do major abdominal surgery to avoid hemorrhoids personally
