@Rachel I give her vitamins but she’s got CMPA unfortunately xx
@Emma oh I see that’s a hard one don’t have experience with that , hope she feels better soon and you get it sorted they like to keep you worried xx
My 10m old only has one bottle a day now but has formula in her breakfast instead of cows milk to make up her ozs. The general guidance is around 14oz a day at 10m but if it drops below this for a period, it’s ok. Just keep an eye on it and if it doesn’t pick back up, I’d put formula in her foods where you can in place of cows milk as I was advised to do x
@Jordan thank you so much xx
This is my LG at moment. She is mainly BF but does take a bottle and was taking a bottle fine up until last week. Obviously we are in a different position because you’re bottles feeding exclusively. I googled that it can hurt their gums with them being sore. It normally passes and you may just have to top up with water and make sure they are having calcium enriched food. Maybe also try and mix their formula into their food
My LG was like this 2 ish weeks ago and also went completely off of her food. To be honest I knew it would pass because it was just from teething so I just let her decide what she wanted. I offered her the usual meals and bottles but if she didn’t want it or didn’t finish it then that was ok. I obviously monitored it and if it went on for too long then I’d find a solution but I’m trying to be really careful with keeping a safe relationship with food and things and letting her decide for herself and not trying to force her. Each day she would eat more/have more milk. I did make meals that would last a bit longer so I could keep offering it but after a few days she was back to having her usual xx
@Leah thank you Leah! Had this before when she was cutting her first tooth I was breastfeeding at the time and she wasn’t interested but didn’t last as long as this time, has me very worried. I added some formula into her dinner tonight and she is still interested in her solids which is good xx
@Aaliyah thank you for the reassurance Aaliyah! I’ll be sure to follow your advice xx
No real advice other that maybe start giving vitamins and give her dairy to eat yoghurts, cheese etc xx
