Vbac

Has anyone had a vbac for their third baby?! Is it too crazy to consider. I’m not pregnant yet but I’ve always dreamed of having a ‘natural’ birth (call me mad). I’ve had 1 emergency c section and one elective as I tend to grow very large babies (10lbs 4oz and 11lbs 11oz). I at least want to attempt it with the third but wasn’t sure if there’s more risk to have a vbac or whether to opt for another c section? Obviously when the time comes! Thanks

I just did this in September for my third baby! My first was natural, my second was C-section. I made sure to meet with midwives and the OB to talk over pros and cons. Because my first was natural and my second was only C-section because she was breech - she said that I was the perfect candidate for a vbac because my body already knew what to do - which made me feel a bit better. My opinion would be to make an appointment with the OB and talk it over with them.

& to note my 1st was 9lbs 9oz , 2nd was 8lbs 11oz and 3rd was 9lbs even

Following because I’m wanting a VBAC if cleared to do so with our third baby (won’t be doing that for another 2-3 years). Had a CAT 1 emergency C-section with my first and an elective with my second. 7lbs 12oz and 7lbs 9oz respectively. My OB said when I asked about it with my second since I had gotten pregnant only 9 months after my first 😅 and he said he’d be definitely willing to try it with the third if I waited the full 2-3 years so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I had an emergency c section March of 2022 with my twins and then had a successful vbac July of 2024
