Bottles

Is everyone still doing a first thing and last thing bottle? My little one would go mad if I tried to drop these! If anything he wants them even more now he doesn’t have any in the day. Sometimes when he finishes his 7oz one in the morning he cries! Thinking of upping it but then is that a backwards step? Should I be working towards dropping it? Never know what I’m supposed to be doing! 🤦🏼‍♀️

My 14 month old has 3 meals a day, 2 snacks and a bottle of milk before bed and she’s content. Every baby is different, I’d maybe suggest dropping the morning bottle if you can but don’t stress if he does cooperate. She has weatabix for breakfast(6am), cheese sticks as a snack (10:30am), nap (11am - 1:30pm), lunch (1:30pm), snack (3pm), dinner (5pm), bottle (6:45pm), bed (7pm) just for reference x

We still do. Its fine for them to have milk, thats not an issue, they just say to try and get them to have cows milk in a cup rather than formula in a bottle, but its still okay to offer milk even to young children as a drink in the morning! I used to do breakfast first but now shes going to nursery I find the bottle buys me more time to get ready lol

@Keeley he’s desperate for his bottle the second he wakes up and cries when he finishes it like he’s still hungry so I doubt I’d have any luck dropping it.

@CeeCee yea mine has breakfast when he gets to the childminders at 8 on my working days. Okay i’ll focus on moving to cows milk in a cup rather than trying to drop it. 👍🏻👍🏻
