Going in for a C-Section

Hi everyone I’m going in for a C-Section on Monday and I just thought about the overnight bag situation and do we bring them in when we go into the birthing centre first thing? Or should we keep them in the car until after the C-Section and have been assigned a room after recovery? I didn’t think to ask Thank you in advance x

Take them with you into the birthing centre. And they will take your bags up to the ward when you are in having your c section xx

Take it with you! I got admitted a night before and took all my stuff in. I was on a waiting ward and the nurses helped me bring all my stuff to the waiting room for the c section and then they carried it into my recovery room. I had my c section in Bath hospital. The parking was bad and my partner parked right at the end and it wouldn’t been annoying if he had to go get it. I recommend just having it all with you and the nurses will help move stuff around x

Thank you both! This is super helpful and at least I know to bring them in now! I had to stay overnight in the week for high blood pressure but it’s not the same when you know you’ll be moving about where as I was just in the Mary ward xx
