Husbands bday

Hey mamas , my husbands birthday is at the end of this month and I always struggle with what to get him. Of course I’m a SAHM so I don’t have money of my own to buy him a gift and I feel bad getting him a gift with his own money 😂 is there anything you do to make it special other than monetary gifts? I usually get him a cake and cards from the kids and everything but I wanna do something a little extra this year.

My husband’s birthday is mid March. This year, since he’s working on his birthday, I plan on doing a birthday gift basket of his favorites and bring it to his job and have our oldest (5) hand it to him and probably order his favorite food for his lunch.

I did a pamper day for mine and turned our bathroom into a man spa. Played his favorite music on low volume. Soaked his feet, massaged them. Did a back massage. Had his favorite drink nicely iced. Made him his favorite meal for dinner with cake. That was 4 yrs ago, and he still talks about it.

I book a table for us and his closest friends for a lunch/dinner everyone pays for themselves and I pay for us out of the joint card I don’t have income as a sahm but I have access to his acc whenever for whatever. We always try to fit in a separate date night also. We don’t do gifts we’d rather spend quality time w family and friends and each other. One year I booked a fishing charter for him and his boys, they went sea fishing the other year I invited them to a live VR game session they still talk about it to this day.
