Park

I always try to explain why we have to leave and usually that works or like we have to go home for lunch or snack or see dad that kind of thing

I always use a timer on my phone. I tell him we have 5 mins or so left to play and then the park closes and I just keep reminding him of the time. So far this has worked quite well 🤷🏼‍♀️

We usually stay an hour/an hour an a half. Before leaving I say many times we are leaving in 10 mins, we are leaving in 5 mins etc. most of the times she gets upset. I tell her that if she will be good about leaving we can come back very soon but if she cries we can’t come anymore because i don’t like when she cries. It’s doesn’t work always but she got better

My toddler gets upset when we go out and come back regardless of how long. 🫠

‘We have to leave the park now, do you want one more go on the slide or shall we just go now?’ Is my usual line, sometimes he does one more slide and runs out the park easily other times he has a meltdown but main thing is I stick to what I say so he knows I’m serious
