Weetabix

How are you making your weetabix for your babies? Are you mixing it with cows milk, breastmilk/formula, water? I’m ebf and struggle to pump enough to mix with weetabix. He doesn’t like formula. Water seems a bit gross and he seems too young for cows milk.

They can have cows milk in food from 6m but not to drink providing they don't have an allergy. I use cows milk 🙂

My lg has cows milk and is 7m, it's okay as an ingredient under 1. I usually warm it up in the microwave too

I’m also ebf but when I give my baby weetabix I mix it with cows milk or oat milk and put into the microwave xx

Full fat cows milk I usually make it night before and leave in the fridge and add in some fruit

I use formula purely because my LO hates taking a bottle and seems to be the only way I can get the ml in

I use pre-made formula x

I use whole cows milk warm in microwave and add weetabix. He loves it and so do I so we share a big bowl. They can have cows milk mixed into meals, just not as a drink until 1

Semi skimmed milk and a bit of a fruit puree, he loves it

Whole cows milk x

I’m EBF so I just do cows milk x

Thanks all! I’m happy to try weetabix and cows milk. My son hasn’t had wheat or cows milk yet. If he has an allergic reaction, how do I go about working out which allergen he’s allergic to from this? Or should I introduce them separately first before doing weetabix with cows milk?

Split the two, try weetavix made with formula for a few days and if all is good make up then using cows milk

You could also try breast milk to start. you could just make up a tiny amount by breaking off a small bit of weetabix. I did this to start, with 10-20ml of expressed milk, and after a few days of no reaction, I then made up more with cows milk
