a fan, a peri bottle, a pillow, a blanket, two pjs - ideally button down for easy access if you want to breast feed, slippers, dressing gown, snacks, long charger, ear phones, comfy clothes to go home in, toiletries, essentials for baby- pack a few outfit just incase; do two different sizes.
Ended up having contractions all regular last night and called the on call Obgyn to come in to hospital and we hadn’t even packed the bag yet so was running around all crazy getting things packed so good on you lol then my contractions of course spaced out so we went back home! I always bring my own pillow and body pillow. Toiletries and just comfy loungewear. Also, snacks!
If ur in ontario, the hospital no longer provides anything . Expessially postpartum essentials. If u Dm me i can send u a copy of my list for my hospital bag. Im delivering in 3 days lol.
@Kira yess one thing im nervous about is going into labor and not having anything prepared lol 😅 so decided to start getting it all tg early !
Hospital provides many things for you but some essentials were toiletries to shower and feel clean, also a nursing bra. I changed out of the hospital gown and wore a nightgown instead. I didn’t use the Frida mom postpartum underwear until I got home. They gave me tucks pads and dermoplast I wish I had packed more ice packs for the peri area Also appreciated having my computer to FaceTime and watch movies Also snacks 😋
