Potty training

Is anyone potty training yet? I feel we should start soon as he’s showing signs but not sure if it’s too early.

We have the potty. Ive put her on it and she stayed a while but then peed on the floor 😂 We have the toilet step thing. She enjoyed sitting on the toilet thing but with bottoms and a nappy. I'll try again maybe end of this month but think it's too soon for my lo. She does squat and hide for poos though any they're finally solid x

We have started potty training. He has an older brother who is 18 month older who is completely potty trained and he just wanted to copy his big brother! My eldest we didn’t start till just after his second birthday, but my youngest was so keen to do what his big brother was doing. We have only got to the stage where he has wee wee on the potty when naked. He hasn’t started with pulling up his trousers yet. We are still very early and not rushing anything just letting him explore the potty naked when at home x

Our LO is showing signs, but it's not consistent. We've got a potty and encourage him to sit on it and just familiarise himself with it for now

If he’s showing signs give it a go. But if you try and he’s not responding or doesn’t wanna then it’s fine. I’m waiting till mine is 2. He’s showed signs for a while but not really all that interested when actually coming to it 😂

Spent the last 2 days potty training at home - it was horrendous! My LO just peed and poo’d on the floor/sofas and he was quite restless. I’ve stopped and will try again in a couple of months. I definitely need to prepare myself next time- bought a book and will make sure I have a whole week free (and more cleaning products)! X

We started at 3 months, there is no too early. Many cultures start from birth! She poos exclusively on toilet and we go nappy free indoors, she does often wet herself if i forget to prompt her but I keep spare clothes in our change bag.
