Hi ladies Is this what the gums supposed to look like with first tooth?

Sorry new to this part. Current 6 month has no teeth yet but past few days has had this whole in the gum (getting a little big bigger) can definitely feel a tooth like feel on the gum but can't see it. I was wondering number one if this is normal? And two how long in your opinion I could be looking at untill I can visually see the tooth!? Thanks
