I had an emergency section at arrowe after being induced and honestly had a lovely experience x

My C-section was lovely, everyone in the room was so happy and they let me pick the music and everything was really quick and smooth even though there was junior doctor strikes on that day

I'm like Jasmine, I had my induction at Arrowe but turned into a c section. I fainted on the operating table 🙄 but that was the only negative. If you have Paul in theatre then you will have a great time. He took photos with my husbands phone and we got an 80s rock playlist going. Rae Iris was born to Hysteria by Def Leppard 🤣

@Jennifer I think it must have been Paul that was there on the day Aurora was born! He definitely made a very good atmosphere and even made me laugh a couple of times!

I had a C-section at Aarowe Park stayed in for about 3 days after, I would say ask about taking stool softeners because the first pooh after a C section is awful 😄 but recovery fine, no complications or infection or anything and I healed well. My little girl was having trouble latching to the breast so I stayed in mostly for the help from the BF team I could of went home sooner xxx

@Jasmine oh laughter from beginning to end x told my husband that cutting the cord is like cutting bacon fat 🤣

My C-section was amazing, the surgeons and the surgery staff where lovely and the nurses/midwives who where looking after me while in surgery and after where bloody amazing couldn’t fault them at all. Everything went smoothly and both me and baby where well taken care off! Also, they took looks of amazing photos for me 😍

I had a c section in arrowe 4 months ago for my.twins. I'd had a natural birth with my son so didn't know what to expect. It was fine, staff friendly, went home two days later. Like others have said I had music playing and they took loads of photos. Everyone scared me about the first time on the toilet but I was fine. I also found recovery easier with a section. X

I had an elective c section and couldn't fault the care of the midwifes/staff. I was in 2 nights but they asked if I needed to stay longer but I was ready to go home. Xx
