Day out ideas

Heya, Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for fun days out with a 15 month old. It’s my birthday in a couple of weeks and I’m spending the day itself with my husband and LO. Would like to celebrate by doing something we’d all enjoy like the aquarium or London zoo or something but my little boy isn’t walking yet and I feel like maybe he’d appreciate the zoo a bit more when he’s over 18 months 🧐 Would love to hear any suggestions that people have. We’re based in Kent but can easily get to central London.

Our LO loves going to a farm! You've got the animals and then there's lots that do other activities for them too, like park, tractors, rides, trikes, softplay 😊

@Yasmin that’s a great shout, thank you! :)

We took my LO to the aquarium for his birthday, he wasn’t quite walking but he really enjoyed being picked up to look. There were a few glass tunnels as well that I managed to push the pram into😊

@Katie ooh amazing, I’m really tempted to book the aquarium - glad to hear your LO enjoyed it :)

We’ve taken our little boy to the aquarium and zoo both before he was walking we had the pram but mostly took it in turns to hold him and he LOVED it!! There’s a few light shows on in London I think there’s one in Shoreditch that might be a nice sensory experience? My little boy LOVED the science museum too, they have a cool little sensory bit for little ones who were all crawling around doing their thing which was pretty cool! The Tate usually have displays that include sensory bits for little ones too - I’ve looked at but not been yet so can’t vouch for those! I hope you have a lovely bday!

@Lauren sorry for the late reply! We’ve decided on the science museum, great shout - thank you so much for the recs! :)
