Long haul flight Help 🥲

Hi everyone, I’ll be on a 1:30h flight connecting to a 11h flight with my 16mo while 22weeks pregnant by myself and I always hear that that’s the worse age to flight so I’m pretty scared but I would like to hear from who have travelled long hours pregnant with a toddler how was the experience and all the tips, the long flight might be at night but she’s an independent sleeper who likes her crib and haven’t slept anywhere else for a while so I’m afraid it’s gonna be super challenging to get her to sleep, she’s also walking and super busy, I worry since we’re flying economy and we’re both tall, how would she sleep on me with a bigger belly ? Trying to hear from other ppl to picture how it would look for us. Since it’s an international flight it would be pricey to buy a seat only for her.

I've heard of airlines providing bassinets for babies but I am not totally sure. I suggest contacting the airline to ask. I suggest bringing snacks and activities to keep her busy. Maybe even a couple new small toys would help?

They do but they have a limit for weight that’s usually 20pounds and she’s already 22 pounds so that won’t work for us. When she was 4mo we used the bassinet for the same flight destination and it was awesome.

I don’t think it would be possible for her to sleep on you with one seat :( I can’t think of a way that would work on the one seat while you’re also pregnant so she shouldn’t be laying on your belly for extended periods

For sleeping on you with belly maybe a compact nursing pillow like BBHugMe would help? It ties around you so can be secure. I found one on Vinted for my upcoming travel, my son is younger but having tried it out I think it could be useful
