Baby groups

I don’t want this post to come across as rude or snooty or anything but does this happen to anyone else? Whenever I attend baby groups all the mums are usually older and even so I don’t mind I try to socialise with them but I just get ignored no matter what baby groups I go to I always get the cold shoulder 😂 I always try socialising but they just never seem interested in talking making friends I think maybe because I’m quite young and their much older 😂🤦‍♀️

I completely understand where you're coming from lol x

Strange. I am an older mom and always find everyone younger being so clicky, so I never get a chance really to socialise.

@Alisha it’s sad because I wouldn’t even mind would just like some mum friends😂

@Ghitta I feel like I’m more awkward but I deffo try socialising with older mums x

@Ghitta I mean it doesn’t matter anyways as we’re all mums lol !X

Sometimes, it's just the mum's you come across that day.. I've spoken to mum's 20s-40s age range, and it's been pretty mixed with the clicky groups and friendliness, to be fair. There was a stay and play group for young mums under 25 years of kids aged 0-5yrs at Selhurst Children's Centre (I'm not sure if it's still running), maybe call about it for details and check it out

That's my experience with it 😂

Happened so many times with me that I’ve just shut off, anywhere I go, I focus on my child and leave! Gave up on making friends.
