Infant Chiropractor

Has anyone had success with an infant chiropractor improving baby’s latch? My babe is almost 6 weeks and we have has a very hard time breastfeeding (almost exclusively pumping right now). My LC recommended the chiropractor to relieve some of his tension and said it would likely help his latch. I see mixed reviews online but at this point willing to try anything.

Yes, my son has a lip & tongue tie and he’s been seeing a chiropractor since he was 6 days old. Chiropractic & craniosacral therapy has helped so much! He’s 5 months old now and doing so much better!

Yes! My daughter is bottle fed (because she had a horrible latch from birth that we couldn't get corrected) but she was constantly leaking out of the corner of her mouth. We started going to a chiropractor about two months ago (every other week, so four visits in so far) and she's not leaking anymore and she barely ever spits up anymore! I don't know where you're located but if you're in the twin cities area, I highly recommend Active Health Chiropractic in Saint Paul. They are a women only team and are amazing with kids AND if you decide to get yourself adjusted, they do deep tissue massages before every adjustment.

We did both chiropractic and craniosacral therapy, both were part of what helped us!

We did CST and chiro but eventually did lip and tongue tie releases. I think the releases helped but we still needed the CST and chiro. (Think of it like physical therapy after a surgery)

If you’re looking for a rec, Take Care in Minneapolis is great. The chiropractor has experience with infants and pregnancy.
