Are you in the uk? The breastfeeding network on Facebook are great to message for advice ❤️
Yeah so my wedding and hen do were all booked before I was pregnant otherwise I wouldn’t have done 3 days for my hen do! I wasn’t planning on getting pregnant before the wedding so it’s all took some adjusting! I’m so nervous about leaving him for the hen do but I’m hoping he will be ok 😢 he hasn’t tried formula yet no! I’m just very unsure what to do for the best at the moment, so conflicted xx
1oz for every hour you’re gone. It’s feasible if you want it to be. If you’re not drunk you’re safe to feed. If you stop breastfeeding for a month you’re still going to have to pump. You can’t stop cold turkey. You need to decide how important breastmilk and your supply is to you and your baby.
@Kimberley yes I am thank you I’ll have a look! ❤️❤️
No worries! Bless you that is hard, absolutely message the breastfeeding network they were a godsend to me they have helped me so much ❤️❤️❤️
I would say to just pump, and buy some of the strips that test alcohol levels if you want to be safe. Like someone said, as long as you’re not drunk you can still breastfeed. Start pumping now before the dates even come so your baby can get used to the bottle so it won’t be as hard when the dates come. And you can still nurse but try to keep a good schedule for bottle feeding with your breast milk. Good luck!🫶🏽

Not going to lie there is a bit of a “sleep regression “ -big development leap- that happens around 4 months old, in my experience breastfeeding really helped but I understand the dilemma, I have yet to have my hen do and I married 2 years ago lol 😂 I breastfed at my wedding, but I enjoyed the downtime, I wasn’t with my daughter much at my wedding and I loved having that bonding session. 3 days is quite a long time to be away from such a small baby also, you will have to pump a lot while your away so your not engorged, not to make you feel guilty at all but it depends what you feel comfortable with. Has your baby tried formula ? ❤️
