Does anyone know or work with any c section support groups?

I don't know about any of you but I feel like the aftercare and advice for c sections is non existent! I was very fortunate to have a straightforward recovery but it still took a long time. I had to ask the midwife at 3 weeks to look at my scar as I didn't know what it should look like and why the 'knot' bump was there. I have had to research massage and exercise. Why is this information not given to us at the hospital?! Even a leaflet is better than nothing. Anyway my mini rant over. I am really passionate about this but simply cannot find any organisation or charities here in the UK offering support or advice to us mums. I would love to volunteer my time to talk to and help others who maybe aren't having the best time adjusting the post c section. Does anyone know any organisation that work in this area?

Csectionuk was created by a midwife and has lots of helpful tips and advice on their Instagram for pre, during and post c section care. I agree though, there’s very little post c section care provided as standard

@Hannah I love her page! So helpful but it's one of the only ones I've found! It's crazy to me how major surgery comes with basically zero aftercare
