Antidepressants
Has anyone started taking antidepressants when pregnant and was there any side effects? Im 32 weeks and not sure if going on them now will affect the baby when she’s born/ when breastfeeding?

Could lead to potential withdrawal when the baby is born as they go into your blood stream that’s what I was told with my first pregnancy I was put on the lowest dose of fluoxentine. I stopped taking them bc of this reason. Then went back on them after he was born. I don’t need them now but that was my experience and what I was told
I was advised to stop mine when I got pregnant and haven’t taken anything since so I guess it depends what you’re prescribed xx

No they is no side effects I don’t think they can only give you something safe for pregnancy which is sertraline xx
