Early miscarriage

Simply looking if anyone could help
started bleeding about a week earlier than usual, didnt think much of it
I usually have bad cramps & bleeding for 2 days of my period anyways, day 5 today and I’ve just passed a small clot - looks like a jelly bag to best describe it with string (photo in comments) bleeding not heavy but more than normal for me at this point
Is this a very early miscarriage by the looks of the clot or could this be normal? I’ve never seen any clots during my period before

Sadly looks like a miscarriage to me. Has the bleeding slowed down since passing this? As well as the cramps?x
@Julia bleeding has slowed down a lot after about 2 hours of this, still have light cramps on & off since x
@Ceri-Ann never heard of that, il check it out. I haven’t tested as I wouldn’t have been aware tbh. I was going to do a test after this but I assume it wouldn’t show positive now anyways even if I was… ? The sack looking bit was probably the size of my small finger nail x
Definitely do a pregnancy test as it’ll show up positive until about 3 weeks after a miscarriage but I’ve had a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks and the baby was a bit bigger than this x

Have you had a positive test? If not I would say this is probably just a blip in your periods and what you’ve passed is a desidual cast which is when a clumpier bit of the uterine lining comes away together (A gestational sack at 4 weeks is only about 2mm)
