Painful baby movements

Hello, I’ve been getting a lot of sharp painful movements, sometimes kicks are so intense and sharp that i need to stop my what im doing, freeze and let it pass. This is my second pregnancy and first time round i never had such intense discomfort, i feel like this baby is also really close to cervix somehow. Is anyone else experiencing this discomfort?
