Period
I have a c section in December and had my first period this time last month.
It was horrendous with the amount of blood but there were no clots.
I’ve come on my period this month and there are soooo many. Not large or bigger than a 50p but loads of really small ones and my period is super heavy.
Anyone else had something similar??

I didn’t have a c section but since I give birth I’ve had 2 periods and they have been so heavy and uncomfortable 2nd one with lots of small clots i have read something that said the first few periods can be heavier due to the uterine wall needing to shed extra tissue from pregnancy

I had a c section in December and only a period on Thursday and it’s been horrific and it’s triggered sciatica or Iv done more damage because Iv been in bed two days and I cannot move. I think Iv done something more serious and my mom asked if it was my period!! I was like this isn’t backache this is BAD. Few blood clots too but they are little .. wouldn’t worry about them as it’s normal if small. Menstrual blood can sometimes clot due to the natural shedding of the uterine lining. These clots are usually small and not a cause for concern. But if your worried I’d go doctors but if they are smaller than a 50p peice they won’t be concerned x
