@Incognito Thank you so much ☺️ I feel overwhelmed by all of this..and behind tbh..i dread this chance bcse i know nights will be carnage..he doesn’t even wait to do a bottle of milk 1min at the machine, i have to do ready made formula next to bed..he is screaming for milk and if i am not fast enough he will just be awake..always been like this..so cows milk during the night scares me a little..i will start like you said..just slowly introduce it and stick if needed w formula at night..thank you again x🌹
We did 2 weeks of 50/50 milk/ formula. Then onto warm milk. Still trying to get him onto cold milk. But I have slowly reduced his milk to when he gets up, bedtime and if he is particularly angsty
Wean the cows milk into the formula , never try to give 100% of the new milk to the baby as it will taste foreign to them and most likely will get put off of it ! 😭 I’ve had many a time where my LO wouldn’t want the bottle because of this If you’re giving your baby 8 oz in every bottle then in the beginning give them 1 oz of cows milk and rest formula and slowly weaaan it to 8 oz of cows milk. within a week they should be drinking full cows milk, use cows milk in their foods too like weetabix so they feel more comfortable
@Alana Thank you 🙏
@Queen Thank you 🙏
Mix the milk into formula. Start with one or two ounces of milk and top up with formula. It helps them adjust to the taste. Took me two weeks to fully transition to cows milk. I also tried at different temperatures. Hot warm or plain cold out the fridge. Now he prefers freezing cold with ice cubes 😂 If night times are too stressful just stick with the formula until you figure out the day time milk. Little changes and small steps are still ok, every baby has their own way. Vitamins go on the food normally. And again. Don’t stress. Stick with one thing you want to achieve this month. Nail it together. Then think about the next change. As long as they’re eating veggies and fruits protein etc they’ll be fine xxx
