Absolutely in the same position with my 8 week old. It’s exhausting! I also have a toddler who is 2.5 years old I remember him being the same until about 3 months when he then would go down for naps in his cot. It’s really hard, some babies just love to be held!
Same with my 6 week old. I’m okay with it at the moment! She used to go in her crib for a day nap but hasn’t for around 2-3 weeks now, but I’ve gotten used to doing lots of stuff with her in the sling. Just thankful she goes down in her crib over night! I assume at some point she will transition back to being okay with the crib during the day, but until then, I just want her to have nice naps
6 week old. Bit the same as soon as I'm about . He's OK with dad though 🤣
My girl is exactly the same! If I get her for 2 minutes in her bouncer it's a huge break 😂 she sleeps for 3/4 hours in her cot at night and then wants to be held for the second part of the night. Love the cuddles but so exhausted
Same here with my 6 week old. I've had to order a sling because getting anything done is impossible 🙃 luckily she's brilliant on a night just the second the sun rises she wants to be held by me and only me. Will scream the house down if anyone dares go in for a cuddle or give me a break 🤦♀️
My little girl is 8 weeks as well and I’m experiencing the exact same thing and have been for about a week now. I’m trying to master eating one hand with her laying on me 😆
Same here Both me and my partner have no life anymore🥲
Same here! My little girl is 8.5weeks now she used to sleep in her bouncer but not anymore during the day she will only nap on someone. She does let me put her down during the day so i can get little bits done like washing and hoovering but cooking🤣 absolutely not x
Currently have a 9 week old that’s exactly the same!
Yep my 9 week old son is the same. Although saying that he has been slowly getting better with trial and error. I try the Moses basket or the pram for his first nap of the day because it's usually more likely to be successful. And no matter how much he wakes, I keep trying his next to me at night in the hope that he will get better
This might make you feel better, it makes so much sense when you understand what she’s saying x https://www.instagram.com/reel/DG5Bun9IkF1/?igsh=MWEzOWNvNmx1d2lhMw==
Omg!!! Ditto!! Mine is 7 weeks old and I’ve the exact same problem. She wants to be held constantly. Day time is nightmare😬 she needs to be rocked to sleep but won’t even sleep for more than 30 ish min after that even in my arms. Night is much better. On good days, I get atleast one 2-3 hour sleep, rest an hour of sleep - 30 mins feed repeat. She’s having a bit of reflux since a few days not sure if that’s causing this. Just hoping this gets better 🤞🏻
My little one is 7 weeks and is like this during the day. He seems to settle down more once my partner gets home from work, but until then he just wants to be held 😅
