Breastfeeding/Tounge tie woes

What has your experience been like so far? I never imagined something so essential being so hard. Kiddo had a tounge tie and we got it adjusted but it's still so awfully painful. Been seeing so many different lactation consultants etc. I'm just exhausted and it hasn't even been a month.

My baby had a thick tongue tie, and we decided to get it snipped right away in the first week! He was only 6 days old but it seemed to make a difference right away. We had it snipped a second time because it had healed again at the base attached. It’s scary, but I thought it was really worth it. He eats really well now and I have zero pain. The first 1.5 week with the tongue tie was brutal, and I had a milk blister, engorgement and just really ravaged nipples from the poor latch and cluster feeding.
