Nonstop crying

My 6month old cries all day, and I can't figure out what to do to stop it. She's showed no signs of pain, the doctor has said she's completely fine, she has plenty to do, she's fed and changed plenty, I just don't know what to do. Is this a thing everyone's dealing with right now, or just us? We introduced binkies about a month ago because we thought she was teething. It helped for a little bit, but she's right back to crying nonstop unless she has a binkie or she's drinking formula. I noticed she cries the hardest when we lay her down- not just for naps, but I'm talking diaper changes, playtime, or to watch something. (And no, she's not overstimulated by shows, so please don't mention it. We do screentime but I heavily monitor it.) It makes me feel horrible setting her down but I have chores to do, and I can't sit with her in my lap 24/7. But the crying has really been getting to me the past few days because it's ALL DAY and any time I think I can finally sit down for a break, she cries again and I get up to try to calm her down. I'm really struggling, any suggestions?

Have you tried baby orajel? Has she had any teeth come in yet?

did this just start?

First thing I thought of was possible reflux? My 6 mo baby gets it pretty bad when we lay her down so we find it helpful to keep her upright as much as possible. The acid burns her throat when laying down. Our pediatrician prescribed us famotidine to help.

That’s kind of the same thing going on with my little one who is also 6 months. Sometimes it’s full on cries and nothing will cheer him up or its little whines that he’ll do. He is literally doing his little whines right now as I type this.

Sounds like she is teething bad, every baby is different. Or she could possibly have reflux if she’s crying every time you lay her down. My baby is a Velcro baby he cries every time I put him down. I just kept carry on and keep him in it and he falls to sleep right next to my crest.

@Makenna no teeth, and yes we've tried just about everything for teething

@Lindsay she had it for the first few months but it seems like all those symptoms are gone now

Mine has been doing this lately. Shes 6 months Wednesday and she’s not usually a cry baby but I still can’t figure out what the issue is either. Sending love ur way and I hope u figure it out soon
