16 months after birth
I had my baby October 9th last year. I got my 1st period January 20th. I didn’t have one last month.
6 months. 15 months (I was tandem nursing). 6 months.

About 5months pp i was also breast feeding though and I heard that can alter when your period starts.
Had my baby on Christmas Eve. Had a period, or whatever that was, 5 weeks afterwards. Haven’t had another period since and no, I’m not pregnant again. Update: It came on today 3/11/2025

8/9 weeks after the which I was shocked about as I have PCOS, and it was 9months after my first! (Didn’t breast feed)
Mine was 13/14 months

The first baby I bleed for 6 weeks, and my period arrived 2 weeks later. The second baby I'm still bleeding, but she is only 7 days old. Will update when I know, lol, as my bleeding is so light this time. I think it'll stop completely in a few days xx
I’m 9weeks PP and breastfeeding. I stopped bleeding about 2/3weeks after giving birth and no sign of period yet just light cramping sometimes which is making me think it might make an appearance… I’ve also just learnt from you guys breastfeeding can prolong it so will also update 😂

Exactly 6 weeks postpartum but everyone is different! I was combi feeding, mostly breast feeding but topped off with formula 😇 I had an emergency c-section if that’s any help

My doctor confirmed today that as long as you’re EBF, it’s very unlikely for your period to start.
@Charlotte I think it depends on the person. I EBF and it showed up right at 6m pp and I’m still breastfeeding at 18m
