Milk transition

Hey guys my LO just turned 1. She still needs a full bottle of milk during the day and at nite before she goes to bed. She refuses to water and only take sips here and there so I give milk to at least give her fluids as she will definitely drink it. However now she has turned 1 she needs to come off formula milk. My milk supply has dried up as well. So I wondered what milk you are giving your 1 year olds ? And how much ? I don't want to give her a whole bottle of cows milk either.. when did you guys stop giving formula ?? please let me know what you are doing guys.

My daughter turns 1 next week. I’ve been giving her 1-2 oz of whole milk at breakfast and lunch and then 4 oz of water at am and pm snack. Then she still takes anywhere from 4-6 oz of formula 3x a day as well as her eating solids at breakfast lunch and dinner

My bub turned 1 on friday ive gone to stage 3 formula to wean him onto cows milk, hes still on 2 bottles a day which the tin recommends?? He has breakfast, lunch & dinner with sips of water but not loads of water intake

My son turns 1 on Friday. We transitioned him from breastmilk to a brand called Ripple Kids we do the unsweet one! We started transition about three weeks ago and now he is fully on that milk! He drinks 2oz in the morning before Breakfast. Then 2 oz before his nap. Then 3 oz before bed! During meals I usually just offer him water he drinks about 4-5oz of water a day.

Not sure if this is helpful, but when we switched to cow's milk, the amount wasn't near equivalent - she drinks way less of it than she did formula. I would say about 40-60 mL if that of milk, where formula it was anywhere from 140-160 per bottle. You could try offering a smaller amount and see how it goes? Or mix them to wean her off, that's what we did and the end amount she actually drank just naturally reduced.

hmm, I switched my little one to whole milk around 12 months too, and we just did a cup instead of a bottle, like 8 oz a day, but honestly, it took a bit for her to get used to it! I actually checked the 'Heal Baby Care App' for this and here's what it says: "It's common for toddlers to still rely on milk for hydration and nutrition at this age. Since your little one has turned 1, you can transition to whole cow's milk, which is recommended for children over 1 year old. A typical amount is about 16-24 ounces per day, spread throughout the day rather than in one large bottle.
