Feeding

My baby is feeding really randomly at the moment, he was on 5oz pretty consistently but now having 2/3/4 sometimes even 1oz. He won't have a bedtime bottle and goes to bed with only having 2oz at 5.30 ish. (Bedtime is at 8pm). Is this normal? Do they fluctuate? Anyone have any ideas how I can get him feeding a bit better, I don't want to feed by the clock but he's definitely reduced his intake and I am concerned (the feeding team don't care until he loses weight).

I feed every 3 hours. We have a 7-7 routine that works for us, also did this with my firstborn. She takes 4 oz at 7, 10, 1, 4 and 7, give or take half an hour. Xx

I was concerned about my LG and the HV said that around 4/5 months they may be wanted to go longer between feeds (our LG now goes around 4hrs). It could be he's not hungry when you're offering it. Also it may be worth increasing the teat size as it could be that as well x

See now for example he's gone to bed and refused a bottle since 3pm. Fair enough he may not be hungry I just haven't heard of babies refusing feeds in the day, I know they can generally go through the night at certain ages And the test thing is tricky as he chokes a lot so we can't increase it, he has thickener and it's a nightmare trying to get it right. He has a really strong suck and drowns in 3 month + teats xx @Sophie
