Tongue Tie Recommendations
My newborn girl has a tongue tie and despite two separate referrals from a doctor and midwife, we’ve still heard nothing regarding her tongue tie. Plus, she’s gaining weight really well so I’m fully expecting to be told that they won’t cut it as her weight is fine (I’ve heard NHS tend to say this regardless of how it’s impacting the mum). I love breastfeeding but it’s a fight and me and my baby have loads of battles every feed because of her tongue tie. Has anyone gone private and if so where would you recommend getting it cut and why there? X

My son was born late December and didn’t get his tongue appointment until the 16th feb. He was putting on weight and they said it mild but offered to cut it anyway. It made such a difference. I think the waiting list is very long as our appointment was on a Sunday which is unusual. This was mk hospital
