@Noemi Nunez I’ve never had Caribbean but I’m down for anything
Do you have a waffle maker? I’ve been prepping homemade “eggos” for breakfast that are a life saver for a quick breakfast
@Zii No but I have a mini pancake maker
I save the recipes I got from hello fresh and home chef and re use them. Most of them are fairly inexpensive to make and delicious. You can just look up the recipes online if you haven't used their service before. I started my cooking journey making a lot of stir fries tbh lol but I didn't really use a recipe, just did diced chicken and vegetables over rice with some store bought sauce. I like them because it mostly is prepared in 1 pot except the rice and has meat and vegetables in it.
Busy day soup and veggie soup (I put ground turkey in my “veggie” soup) are really easy and cheap meals! I also found it was good to have pancake/waffle mix on hand cause that’s easy to make and if have extra you can eat it later in the week or freeze it for later!!
@Melissa and YES! Stir-fry’s can end up being cheap too!
Check out The Farmer's Table on YouTube. I love Jess so much! She's a mother of 5 boys and runs a homestead, so all of her recipes are family and budget friendly and most don't take too much hands on time.
@Jenna the recipe I have is for pancakes, but I threw them in my waffle maker lol 2 cups All purpose flour 4 tsp (teaspoon, not tablespoon) baking powder 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1 large egg (recipe calls for 2, I sub 1 with 1/2 cup applesauce!) 1 1/2 cup milk 4 tbsp butter Dash of cinnamon This made about 20 waffles in my mini maker, probably makes 12 regular sized waffles or pancakes I used a couple to make breakfast sandwiches with peanut butter and banana slices lol
What are you into? I can share caribbean recipes (my way lol)
