Mums with multiples

How are you getting anything done? I have a nearly 3 year old and a 4 week old. I don’t understand how I am meant to get my baby down for naps in the day when there is so much going on around her. We have just been for a long walk to help to get her to sleep but that didn’t help.

I have a 2 year old and 4 week old! It’s wildddd! But I’ve accepted my house won’t be spotless all day & jobs can wait. I get things done on an evening when my 2YO is in bed, thankfully 4 week old sleeps regardless of noise around him!

I have a 14 month old and 6 week old and I can’t lie it’s hard and I cry most days 🫣 I just constantly feel overwhelmed I’m hoping it will start getting easier.

@SiobhanI’m crying everyday too. I am getting so overwhelmed. I just don’t know how to balance the two!

@Sally how are you getting him to nap though? Are you putting him down? In a sling? On you?

@E glad I’m not the only one but then I wouldn’t want anyone to feel like this. I’m hoping we will just naturally fall into a routine. I also keep telling myself it’s not forever and I’ll probably miss these days 🫣

@E I put him in the Moses basket often awake and then use the Rockitt - it’s been an absolute life saver for me I wouldn’t be without it! xx

With great difficulty 😅 I have a 3 year old and 4 week old. I'm feeling very overwhelmed by the state of the house and not being able to keep on top of anything. With my first this didn't matter so much but my toddler gets the house messy very quickly. Trying to meet my basic needs like having a shower, going to the toilet and eating is hard. The naps aren't an issue here as I've been blessed with babies that sleep through everything except for not being in physical contact with me 🙈 so baby is just napping on me/ in the carrier.
