Travel bed

Hey! I need advice of where/how your toddlers are sleeping if you spend the night elsewhere. I was thinking of getting bed rails I could bring but was wondering if there are any other alternatives. I do not co sleep so simply sharing a bed isn't an option. Plus my daughter moves A LOT in her sleep. Also looking for something budget friendly! Thanks in advance!

How old is your toddler?

Do you have a pack n' play? My kid is 16 months, but it's worked for us so far. I got a fitted mattress and sheet so it's a little more comfortable, and she does pretty well in it, and they are easy to pack around.

I second the pack and play!

I have a pack and play but she's too big for it! She'll be 2 in May.

Are you going on a longer trip? If so, could you look into renting a crib? Otherwise, I've seen some inflatable toddler beds that have raised sides so she wouldn't easily roll off, would that work?

@Taylor hmm, if she's too big for a pack n' play then maybe a floor mattress would work? Even an inflatable one. Then she's safe and you won't have to carry a lot with you, just bedding.

We haven’t had a chance to use it yet but we recently picked this up from Walmart when it went on sale for $55 https://www.walmart.ca/ip/6WR07I452XVL We had been using the pack n play but my LO is also almost two and super tall so she won’t be able to use it on our next trip! I like that it uses crib size sheets so we can just bring what we use at home. I like that we don’t have to worry about rolling or bed sharing so I’m hopeful it’ll work out!

I second what Dani said about this inflatable mattress. We used this last week when we were camping with our almost two year old and it was fantastic.
