Prediabetic

Just found out yesterday that I'm "technically" prediabetic. Anyone else? Any tips? I just started phentermine today, and I'm working funds around for a gym membership. I love water, and a lot of the foods and things that are pretty bad for me are foods I don't really like anyway. Just sharing here bc I don't know where else to I guess

Intermittent fasting can help when you prediabetic. I am too... i will try fasting but honestly its hard.

@Noshaba I fasted before and I had some good success with it, but like you said, it's hard.

Yep i just diagnosed two weeks okay. Never had an issue before. My AC1 was 5.8. I started metformin two weeks ago. Continue to Drink lots of water and eat a healthy diet. Maybe cut back on carbs too! But be b careful not to cut them out completely especially if you’re breastfeeding

True, i keep on eating even when i am not hungry...

Look on the gd website and follow the diet as if your diabetic I turned mine around and then got pregnant and it went abit pet tong

@Mi’Chia mine was 5.8 also.

My acb1 or what ever it is currently sits at 5.0

Did you have to get two blood tests to confirm it? I got one and was 5.7 and haven't gotten another one and I was a bit confused if it was confirmed. I've definitely lost PP weight since then. But I'm now pregnant and really anxious about blood test next week...

Low carb. 30-45g per meal and if you snack 15g.

Also small spaced out meals throughout the day are really good to keep it stable

@Chela I just got one blood test and mine was 5.8
