We're still doing a crib for now. Will try to transition around 2.5-3
My daughter’s been in a toddler bed since about 10 months. She slept better because she was able to get in and out when she wanted. I just made sure there was nothing in her room that she should have. Actually going to transition her to a full sized soon because she keeps ending up halfway on the floor in the middle of the night
Floor bed for about 2 months now, he loves his big boy bed
I switched both my girls(now they are 2 and 4) a little bit before a year. Both my girls would try and climb out even with it on the lowest setting and I would rather them be climbing out of a toddler bed in the middle of the night than falling from trying to get out of a crib. We had to take out toys for a few weeks and when we moved the toys back they didn’t try and play with them at night, which I thought would happen.
Yep! He hasn’t tried to climb out yet
Thanks ladies for all your helpful answers, another question, If LO starts to try to climb out again do crib pants or sleep sacks work for that?
Yup! He loves his crib :)
My daughter switched to a toddler bed at 15 months, my son will be two next week and he’s still in a crib! Every kid moves at their own pace… don’t make any moves based on what other moms did. Do what’s right for you and your little ❤️
Floor bed since about 15 months old. She sleeps way better. Plus when she’s having random rough nights I can just lay in the bed with her. We did a queen size floor bed(our old guest bed)
Thankfully she hasn’t tried to climb out yet but that’s probably due to her sleep sack, which she can actually take off but still happily in the crib!
Babe still loves his crib luckily! No escape attempts
2 years tomorrow and still in his crib happily!
