Following!! In the same boat
I started going to the gym a month ago (I’m also EBF baby is 6 months tomorrow). I started juicing for a week, then break and then juicing again. So on and off. Heaps of water. Lots of cardio. My supply hasn’t changed at all. Honestly the only thing that’s affected my supply EVER is my water intake. Although going to the gym did bring on my period 5.5m PP. I haven’t lost weight on the scale as I am gaining muscle but my before and after photos from just one month are really good. I’ve slimmed down a lot.
@Sera Kay ✨ oh that sounds great!! I think I was so focused on getting the milk supply up with pretty much carbs… that now I’m like…. Erm how do I get this weight off. Luckily no longer got that crazy hunger I used to have before. Can I ask what you do for juicing? Thank you so much!
@Laila it’s protein you should be focusing on, not carbs. So that might be why you’re putting on unwanted weight! Breastfeeding is all about high protein diet 😊 I was doing fresh ginger, celery, green apple & lemon! 🍋
Up your activity levels. Still breastfeeding a lot at 16 months and the only thing that helped me curb the weight gain and start to lose was returning to work where I average 20k steps a day. I’ve lost 1.5 stone in 5 months without really changing my diet x
