Anyone else have a child who needs everything to be EXACTLY the same every time?

Hard to explain but here’s an example: We had a movie night a while ago and then did another last night and he reeled off the snacks we had last time and we had to have all the same ones. Then this morning we had a biscuit left over so I let him have it (yeah yeah biscuit for breakfast 🤣) and he wouldn’t eat it until I’d put the same film back on. And we’ll read books and he’ll say exactly the same thing at exactly the same bits. If we go anywhere he’ll remember little details

Mines kind of like this…. Last week on the way home from nursery he needed a wee so I quickly parked the car but because I parked in forward he threw the biggest tantrum so after his wee we had to go back out to reverse park the car. Yesterday I moved out sofa around… as soon as he saw it I had to move it back. He’s the same with food if it’s not how he likes it he won’t touch it

@Angela yes this is exactly what he’s like! There’s 2 Carpark’s at our nursery but we’re only allowed to park in one of them so if ones full I just have to wait. If I cut his toast differently he won’t eat it. So many examples. Maybe it is just normal 3 year old behaviour

My 3 year old is exactly the same xx

This morning he lined all his cars and motorbikes along the window and told us to leave them there while he’s at nursery… he would know if ones been touched 😂 arnt they funny.

@Angela oh yes I bet he’ll remember exactly what order they’re all in! Literally the smallest thing could change in this house and my son would notice the minute he walks from the door. Yeah they are certainly funny little things x

Yes haha my son can be like this xx
