Bath time phobia
Is anyone else’s little one who previously loved bath time suddenly terrified of the water? My little girl used to be impossible to get out of the bath but now she cries when she’s put in, won’t sit down at all and only puts up with a quick wash if myself or my husband are in with her. Not sure where the fear has come from or how to get over it.. any ideas (besides the ton of bath toys she already has)? 😅🛁 🙏

No advice but my boy is like this now, up until a week ago he loved bath times but all of a sudden he's terrified. Apparently it's common around this age though so I'm hoping it won't last long, I didn't think I'd miss him soaking the bathroom with his splashes 😂
@Taiya Damn! Glad to hear his crying is lessening though! Will continue with the quick washes and hope for the same 👀
@Rebecca haha exactly. Good to know it’s developmental.. I think I might try an anti slip bath mat or even a shower if things don’t change soon 🤞🏻
My first went through this stage. It will pass. You just have to persevere xx

We went through this a few weeks ago and had to bath with her. Then one day we tried her on her own again and she was fine 🙏

Couldve written this myself!! We're literally just powering through with super quick washes as I found trying to keep him in and entertain him with toys was winding him up more🤦♀️ hes been like it for a couple weeks now with no real cause it was just out of the blue but slowly his crying is getting a bit less each time so hoping its just a phase🤞 no advice just solidarity😂
